Dear Readers,

The first few days of January have flown past which makes me wonder if 2026 is going to be another year that flashes past. I valiantly attempted to finish my trilogy leading up to Christmas but it proved impossible.

My superwoman capabilities have seriously diminished over the last year or so. After doing all the catering for Christmas and Boxing Day with two family birthdays as well, I ended up having a full day of rest where I barely left my bedroom!

Christmas is so much more enjoyable now we have grandchildren. The joy and excitement is wonderful to see on their faces. After Christmas we spent a week at our beach house with the family. Teddy and Louis loved having the kids there.
