December News…
Dear Readers,
Finally summer is here but in terms of the date, not the weather. We have had a cold and wet and windy spring which has made being outdoors tricky. I would go out with the dogs in full sunshine only to then be showered on or the wind to blow my umbrella inside out, all in the space of minutes!
It is now almost seven weeks since my seventh spinal surgery and I feel I stepped up a notch in improvement. I can tolerate sitting a bit longer which has been great so I can get on with my 100 the book. The dream is to finish it before Christmas but this time of year is always so busy.
This is a photo of me watching my older sister get married after many long lonely years as a widow. I couldn’t get there in person due to my spinal surgery but the grandkids and I watched it live on Facebook. It just proves it’s never too late to find Mr Right!

Hi, wishing you and your family a lovely Christmas and new year. I’m fully retired now – and spending lots of time with the grandkids – nine of them! Mum and Dad are doing well in their home at 91. All the best as you recover and continue writing. I could send you our family snapshot Christmas card if you wish, just need a postal address, John.
