Dear Readers,

I’m still on a bit of a high from finally finishing my 100th book. I’ve done the revisions on it and now that the trilogy is complete, I feel a real sense of accomplishment, especially as I had to write through some of the toughest circumstances of my career. I do not recommend writing a trilogy and having two major spinal surgeries at the same time!

I’m spending some time at our beach house while we do some major bathroom renovations at home. I love being surrounded by nature and the peace and quiet is great for my creativity. Actually, it’s not always quiet! We had heavy rain last night and the sea is pounding today after being like a millpond for days. Yesterday I saw dolphins swimming in the distance as they fed on a school of fish. The bird life is amazing and I love hearing the sound of the pied oyster catchers in the distance. The sea washed up a lovely collection of shells this morning, which apparently is a sign of a healthy beach. Every day there are new treasures to admire.
